Redeemed for a Greater Purpose
I believe the Lord desires to redeem areas of our lives in 2026 by reminding us of what Jesus has already accomplished on the cross. Too often, we become paralyzed by the circumstances of life, whether from abuse, neglect, depression, fear or simply feeling stuck. Yet God is not intimidated by our past or overwhelmed by our present. He longs to turn it all around for His glory.
What was meant to take you out will become your testimony, one that leads others into freedom. God knew exactly where you would be today; nothing in your life has even taken him by surprise. When we are in Christ Jesus, our birthright grants us access to his promises. This is incredibly good news. Scripture tells us that because we love God and are called according to his purpose, all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28). The bible doesn't say some things - it says all things. Even the painful chapters. Even in the waiting. Even in the midst of the process. Nothing is impossible for God; now let's come into alignment with his word and take back territory!
Let's pray: Father God, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Lord I surrender to you_________________________________. By faith, I believe that you are working all things together for my good. I also surrender what the process and healing may look like. Father, uncover the gifts, ideas, plans, and purpose you have placed within me, that I may use them for your glory. Thank you that nothing is wasted and that you are making all things new. I give you my past, present and future - have your way Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
Engagement:
Today, take inventory of your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance areas that may be buried or unresolved, anything that keeps you stuck. Write them down and invite God to redeem each one. Declare that what the enemy meant for evil, God will use for good. Then tear up the paper as an act of faith and step forward, walking boldly in the freedom Christ has given you.
